CONTINUED MEETING OF THE ISLE OF WIGHT COUNTY BOARD
OF SUPERVISORS HELD THE SECOND DAY OF OCTOBER IN THE
YEAR TWO THOUSAND AND THREE

Chairman MacManus called the continued meeting to order at 2:00
p.m. He explained that the Board continued its September 4~ 2003 meeting
to September 18, 2003 in order to conduct a meeting on the Chesapeake Bay
Act Preservation Area Ordinance prior to that meeting; however, the
September 18, 2003 meeting was cancelled due to Hurricane Isabel. He
noted that the Board would need to formally close the continued meeting
prior to beginning the regular meeting today.

Supervisor Claud moved that the Board adjourn its continued meeting.
The motion was adopted unanimously (4-0).
