SPECIAL MEETING OF THE ISLE OF WIGHT COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
HELD THE TWENTY FOURTH DAY OF JUNE IN THE YEAR NINF'1'EEN HUNDRED
EIGHT EIGHT
PRESENT: Henry H. Bradby, Chairman
Thomas L. Ross
Richard L. Turner
Also attending: H. Woodrow Crook, Jr., County Attorney
Myles E. Standish, County Administrator
Hilda W. Harmon, Budget and Finance Coordinator
Chairman Bradbyy called the meeting to order at 12:00 noon at
the Smithfield Station in Smithfield, Virginia.
County Administrator Standish advised the Board members that
the County had received proposals for audit services for fiscal
year 1987-88 from Goodman & Company in the amount of $11,500;
Rauch, Whitt & Company in the amount of $14,900 and Robinson,
Farmer, Cox Associates in the amount of $15,000-$16,500. County
Administrator Standish recommended the audit contract be awarded
to Goodman & Company, the low bidder.
On motion of Supervisor Ross, the Board voted unanimously
(3-0) to accept the low bid and award the contract for audit
services for fiscal year 1987-88 to Goodman & Company in the
amount of $11,500a
_ At 12:15 P.M. Supervisor Ross moved the meeting be
adjourned, which passed unanimously (3-0).
